As the years slip by, the appreciation of the Masqueraders keeps getting higher. The more people see and hear them, the more they are in awe of their harmonizing skills.  Although they never had a huge hit, their unique, classy singing keeps people reverting to their old recordings frequently.

 - Heikki Suosalo, Soul Express

This ten-track LocoBop collection showcases The Masqueraders between the years 1972 and 1977.

The Masqueraders’ genesis goes back fifty years to Dallas, Texas, where Robert “Tex” Wrightsil recruited a group of schoolmates to form a singing group. The Masqueraders have since evolved into one of America’s iconic vocal groups. Still very actively writing songs, performing, and recording, they now are based in Memphis, Tennessee.
